Making Habitat for Sunday Breakfast

Making Habitat for Sunday Breakfast

Some lessons can't be taught. They simply have to be learned.

Ahh.... it's Sunday morning, the clouds have parted a wee bit and you can see a peek of sunshine after all the rain over the last few days--throw in a rainbow and I might be in cartoon in something. This morning I woke up particularly hungry-perhaps it's the added workouts but nonetheless I was in no mood to make anything this morning. What did I want? I wanted "good" nothing too heavy just "good and filling"...okay so what did I want? I wanted something warm, I wanted a chai tea latte to start and then I could figure out what to eat. So then where should I go? I wanted to checkout another area. Let's go Eagle Rock.

I found Habitat Coffee and TeaThe menu is simple and diverse with everything made to order.

Lots of Tea and Coffee options. After looking at the menu while waiting in line I settled on the Bacon, Potatoe, Chedder Chesse and Chive Quiche and what else...the purpose of my visit Chai Tea Latte with Almond milk.  I also brought along my Glamour magazine of course! I'll get to that later.

The Quiche took about 10 minutes to warm up and was so worth it! Warm flaky crust you could taste the freshness in the ingredients. Homemade taste all the way!

I might have to make Habitat a Habit with it's relaxed feel and variety to choose from it's definitely a place to add to the list. It's a treat.

What Sundays should be about:

So getting back to my Glamour magazine. It's Sunday which means the weekend is coming to an close which for me at least it means that planning for the work week has begun. But while reading my Glamour magazine waiting for my quiche I came across this article: How to Slash Your List.  As soon a I saw this page I immediately put my pen and paper away because guess what? If you guessed making a list.....you're a winnah! I was making a list!! while reading my magazine lol YUP so guilty.

This was a good reminder for me to stop, relax and enjoy THIS moment and not busy myself with planning and re-planning and making yet another list of shit that truth be told I hadalready have in descending in your head.

Give your brain a rest and learn about the top 25 Beauty tips for Spring according to Glamour. Monday always comes way too soon.
