A walk with Elephant Strips
Traveling is some much fun and can transforming...Travel, Learn and Apply (TLA) has been a huge part of my life and though I have not really traveled much since moving to L.A. that is about to change again. I am ready to not only travel, but I really want to do much of it on my own and with my mom when possible...but that's where I am right now. I want to rediscover some old favorites and discover new places that I have been thinking about for a long time now...time to be fearless, fear and me.
To get me started I found the best travel bag I have ever seen from New Zealand–based company Elephant Stripes started by two college pals Jordan Abrahams and Francesca Logan...two kick ass enterprising young women who have spent 10 years making this bag for us all to enjoy.
Made suitcase-size backpacks that are cute (fun prints!) and practical. (They're front-loading, allowing you to pack as you would a traditional bag.) Padded straps make carrying it to and from easier, while a detachable shoulder strap lets the entire thing turn into a duffel bag. Options, peeps!
Check out their full story and support them as they launch there bag line that I am sure will be on ever travelers must have list. It's already on my Favorite Finds list and also in my closet :-)
Their travel pack, currently are pre-selling on Kickstarter with a little under two weeks left to go
