ediBOL Delights for a Healthier Bowl
My lunch partner in crime Roberto and I decided to try a new place for lunch this week and found ediBOL in the kinda of new Santa Fe Building. The space is clean, open and very welcoming.
The menu is rather straight forward hot bowls, cold bowls and salads that you can add a protein to for an additional charge.
Roberto and I decided on the BOLicious bowl minus the egg for me with Garlic Beef.
The first few bites of my BOLicious ($9) with Garlic Beef (+$3.5) felt like fireworks in my mouth. There was an explosion of different flavors and textures dancing together. The BOlicious comes with: Umami fried heirloom rice, seared greens, pickled tomatoes, kohirabi wedges, cucumber scallion relish, homemade togarashi, and Garlic Beef.
The flavors were really intense and a little bit too salty for my preference. Nonetheless, it was savory, hearty and satisfying. What more do you need in a meal? Go head I'll wait in the meantime...
Our waiter also served us Lemon Ricotta Fritters on the house! YAS! It was the perfect end to our delicious meal. They were like mini donut balls that were fried to a perfect crisp on the outside with great lemon flavor on the inside. So add ediBOL to your lunch spot list.
Also, they have a happy hour menu M-F at 4:20-7:00 pm. Essentially, happy hour is only served at the bar but again the space is really relaxing including the bar.
There is a parking lot that validates for 2 hours for free. Or street parking. We came here on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and took a Lyft :)
